We've had a lot of questions about the 24g of sugar in 24hrs. This is "added" sugar we are looking for. But be careful. It's everywhere! Here are some examples of ingredient labels that show "added" sugar.
Eating natural sugars from food sources such as veggies and fruits is okay. But make sure you are eating the fruit or veggie also!! Not just the juice. Be responsible!
A good example is Yogurt.
Plain yogurt has 10g of sugars listed. But the ingredients are milk and active cultures. (whatever that means)
The sugar listed is natural sugars found in milk.
The one that has fruit has 44g !! Holy Moly. You would count "added sugar" as 30g! and take 15 points off your day.
I vote to have plain yogurt and top it with real fruit!
